Rocky coves and pink sand characterise Gruinard Bay, one of Scotland's loveliest beaches.  It lies in the Wester Ross area and can be reached via the A832 and Little Loch Broom.  From Gruinard Bay there are wonderful views across island-studded waters to the Coigach Hills.  The area is very interesting from a geological viewpoint and many unusual stones can be found in the area. The Road along the bay's western shore passes a ruined chapel built where St Columba supposedly founded a church. Bay best viewed from top the top of Gruinard Hill.

Our bed and breakfast accommodation is only a few miles from Gruinard Bay.
